About

I started pet sitting in 2001 in New York when I quit my job as a pharmacist to care for my daughter who needed surgery.  I eventually returned to pharmacy but have now retired to return to what I love best-caring for animals.

When there is something I am passionate about I study it just like I studied and researched medication as a pharmacist.  I am experienced in dog training, caring for sick animals and know all about the medications they are prescribed.

Being a pit bull owner, I have no problems with breeds that may be overwhelming to others.  I also love and have experience with birds, rodents, geckos, snakes and fresh water and salt water fish.

As a volunteer at the Point Defiance Zoo, I took classes that increased my knowledge of the animals in our world and gave me a deeper understanding of animal behavior.
